2022 Winning Project

The “Nature in the City” Contest supports projects that promote biodiversity

The Ecopolis Housing Cooperative, winner of the 5th edition

Ecopolis, a housing cooperative that will soon be moving to Les Plaines-du-Loup, has been recognized for its project to create eco-friendly landscaping around its building.

Several biodiversity-friendly improvements will be implemented around the building, such as wildflower lawns, ruderal areas, native shrubs, green facades, and nesting boxes for bats and swifts. This will provide new habitats for flora and fauna and give biodiversity a boost as it takes root in this new neighborhood!
