Stair-free access to the Sauvabelin Forest from the Sallaz neighborhood

Avatar: Déborah Déborah

I propose creating a stair-free path behind the Sala neighborhood, near the soccer field, leading to the Sauvabelin Forest.

Currently, access is only via a staircase, which prevents people in wheelchairs, families with strollers, or people with limited mobility from enjoying this natural space.

A trail accessible to everyone would make the forest more accessible, encourage family walks, and better connect the neighborhood to the “green lung” of Sauvabelin.

Benefits for the neighborhood:

Better accessibility for all residents

Promoting sustainable transportation and nature walks

More community spirit and inclusivity for the neighborhood

Thank you for considering this idea to improve access to nature for everyone!
