Dance workshops (contemporary and urban) specially designed for parents and children at the Théâtre Sévelin 36. 20 parent-child workshops, each lasting 1 hour, taking place from January through December 2025 during the “Samedis de Sévelin” events.

Your Project in Detail
Come dance as a family and discover dance workshops specially designed for parents and children. As part of the 2025 “Samedis de Sévelin”—major intergenerational dance events at Théâtre Sévelin 36—we’re organizing sessions to put youth and families at the heart of this project. Led by professional artists and dancers, children will enjoy the many benefits of dance, and adults will forge special bonds with the younger generation through movement and dance. Our professional instructors will facilitate playful, collaborative spaces where participants can learn to dance together, develop, and deepen their connections with one another. These sessions will focus on learning new coordination skills, developing body and spatial awareness, fostering group dynamics with other children, encouraging creativity, building confidence, and promoting mental, physical, social, and individual well-being by giving everyone the opportunity to participate.
