ateliers de demain

1. The Project in a Nutshell

The “Ateliers de Demain” offer young people in Lausanne aged 12 to 15 a space to find inspiration, express themselves, experiment, and take action for a desirable future, in a festive and motivating atmosphere. Organized as part of the Objectif Terre 2026 Festival, these free workshops will feature meetings with “everyday heroes and heroines,” creative activities (podcasts, videos, upcycling, crafts, gardening, journalism, artistic creations, collective murals, etc.), collaborative games, and opportunities for discussion.

2. The Project’s Objective

The project aims to have a tangible impact on the lives of adolescents in Lausanne’s various neighborhoods by:

  • By offering them fun, educational, and inspiring activities;

  • Stimulating their creativity and inspiring them for the future;

  • Enabling them to get actively involved in the ecological and social transition;

  • Making them aware of the importance of their contribution to a sustainable future;

  • Fostering lasting friendships.

3. Your Project in Detail

The Ateliers de Demain are aimed at young people in Lausanne aged 12 to 15 who want to take action to build a better future. Organized as part of the Objectif Terre 2026 Festival and completely free of charge, these workshops will allow young people to learn, find inspiration, express themselves, and gain concrete tools for taking action—all in a festive, fun, and motivating atmosphere. The project will take place in June 2026 on the Esplanade de Montbenon over two days as part of the Objectif Terre 2026 Festival. It will offer content that is entirely free and specifically designed for young people ages 12 to 15.

Participants will be able to engage in fun, educational, and creative activities such as:

  • Meetings with “Everyday Heroes”: testimonials and discussions with engaged young people who have inspiring stories

  • A “green journalism” workshop: An introduction to reporting, photography, and communication techniques, with hands-on experience in the field during the Objectif Terre Festival

  • Producing a podcast or conducting interviews with speakers, which will be shared on the Festival’s social media channels

  • Creative and hands-on workshops: upcycling and crafting, repairs, zero-waste cooking, gardening, and planting...

  • Collaborative games, such as a “carbon story” workshop that simulates the impact of our daily actions, or an escape game

  • Creative activities, such as creating a collective mural

  • Opportunities for discussion, exchange, and sharing among young people!

The activities will be led by facilitators, artists, and professional instructors. Young people can participate in the entire program or sign up for specific activities only.
