FAQ/Practical Information

To do so, click on the “Sign Up” link (at the top right of the home page) and fill out the form:

1) Enter the name of your choice as well as a nickname (alias/pseudonym). The name and nickname fields are public and will appear on your public profile as well as alongside your proposals, comments, and endorsements:

• If you wish to remain anonymous, you can provide a name and username that do not reflect your identity;

• If you wish to contribute on behalf of an organization (association, company, etc.), you can use the name of that organization as your name and/or username.

2) Next, enter your email address. This information remains confidential and is not visible to other platform participants.

3) Choose your password: At least 10 characters with a minimum level of complexity (for example, no sequences of numbers or words identical to the name or nickname you entered).

4) Review and accept the platform’s Terms of Use by checking the box labeled “By registering, you agree to the terms and conditions of use” to proceed with registration.

5) Subscribe to the newsletter to receive updates on participatory initiatives in Lausanne, if you’d like.

6) Continue creating your account by clicking the “Sign Up” button. A confirmation email will be sent immediately—be sure to click the link to confirm your registration. If you do not receive it, be sure to check your spam folder. Feel free to contact us by email at participer@lausanne.ch if you have any trouble signing up.

7) Have you completed your registration on “Lausanne participe”? Congratulations! To start participating, log in (using the “Log In” link at the top right of the home page)!
