Cromorne (electro-trad, krautrock): This trio offers repetitive, haunting, and immersive music. The core idea is to bridge the gap between instruments and musical styles that seem opposed but carry the listener into an intoxicating circular movement. The amplified hurdy-gurdy develops its narrative by building on a foundation laid by drums, drum machines, and synthesizers to create a sonic meditation. Hugo Parisot: drum machines and synthesizer / Kévin Valentin: drums and synthesizer / Nicolas Virey: amplified hurdy-gurdy
Cachalot (violin and noise accordion): cheerfully distorting the natural sounds of the violin and accordion until only a faint echo remains, in a long and obscure exploration of the abyss, the two musicians bring forth long, slow melodies against a noise-filled backdrop of electronic crackling, interrupted by sudden and fleeting undertows. Marc Berman: accordion / Jamasp Jhabvala: violin
