To provide a professional-grade space for neighborhood residents and other Lausanne residents—a place where they can come to express themselves, share their experiences, their stories, and their challenges in front of a microphone. Potential episodes to be recorded.
3. Your project in detail
We would like to equip a room at the Bourdonnette sociocultural center with the professional equipment needed to record podcasts. This room will be open to everyone, and podcast recording projects will be carried out there. We would like this space to serve as a safe and welcoming environment for Bourdonnette residents who are not accustomed to speaking in public. We aim to honor the daily lives, life journeys, and challenges of these individuals. This space will also serve as a place for gatherings and socializing. It will also provide opportunities for skill-building, given the need for volunteers to record and manage the space. We hope to then distribute these podcasts to raise awareness about the residents of this neighborhood, its history, and their personal stories, as well as to invite other speakers to come and share their perspectives.
