I’m making it to La Borde!

1. Your project in two lines:

Host workshops in the Borde neighborhood to foster connections among residents, particularly children and families.

 20,000.-

3. Your Project in Detail:

The goal is to transform this space into a gathering place for children, youth, and parents. People don’t always know each other. To attract people and help them connect, we’ll organize workshops—including painting, percussion, board games, dance, and cooking—and we’ll also be open to suggestions from the community.

These workshops will take place from April through June and from September through November, with two sessions per week for a total of 48 sessions. (Wednesday afternoons, Saturdays, and/or Sundays)

4. The objective of your project:

Reaching out to residents and bringing in new people to help develop this area so that it becomes more welcoming. We’ve noticed a lack of activities in this neighborhood space. Through the workshops, we hope to introduce participants to new artistic disciplines.
