With “Lausanne participe,” the City of Lausanne has joined the Swiss e-Participation Forum (FOEPS), a national network that promotes the use of online participation platforms and serves as an interface between those who develop them and those who use them.

Development

The platform was developed in collaboration with the specialists at Octree through their Voca project and is based on the open-source software DECIDIM, which uses 100% open-source technologies. You can find its source code at https://github.com/decidim.

The development of the Decidim software is organized globally within the Metadecidim community, of which the City of Lausanne is now a member.

The “Lausanne participe” platform also receives support from Swiss eGovernment as part of the 2021 call for proposals for online participation projects.
