Upcycling

In the heart of the Plaines-du-Loup eco-neighborhood, the Blécherette nursing home, operated by the Bois-Gentil Foundation, is opening its doors to artists for its first exhibition.

We are therefore pleased to invite you to discover the works: OPÉRATION UPCYCLING

Three works were created in collaboration with a collective of neighborhood residents:

“CANOPÉE” (large-scale painting) and “Fleurs des champs” (Les plastiques)

“Water Lilies after Claude Monet (The Papers).”

UPCYCLING PROJECT, including “CANOPÉE,” created from recycled plastic bags in collaboration with local residents. This 2.50-meter-wide artwork is displayed at the entrance to the Fondation Bois-Gentil.

In addition, a second artwork, “Water Lilies Inspired by Monet,” made of paper, was also created by neighborhood residents.

The painting has been selected for the International Paper Biennial. It will therefore be on display at the Charmey Museum starting June 28, 2026.
