Avatar: Liana Liana

Short Description
Finance to Balance offers fun financial education workshops for children in Lausanne ages 6 to 10 and their parents, including parents of older children. The project aims to foster family dialogue about money, reach a diverse audience, and ensure that the activities are accessible to all families in Lausanne.
Target Audience
Children in Lausanne aged 6 to 10, as well as parents or adult guardians, including those of older children.
Your Project in Detail
Finance to Balance offers free 1.5-hour workshops for children ages 6 to 10, featuring games and hands-on activities about the value of money, the difference between needs and wants, saving, and solidarity. At the same time, friendly sessions for parents are organized to provide them with simple, practical tools for discussing money as a family and supporting their children’s learning. The project aims to strengthen intergenerational communication, prevent financial stress, and promote responsible habits from an early age. The workshops will be conducted in collaboration with community centers and family centers in various neighborhoods to reach a diverse audience and ensure the project is accessible to all families in Lausanne.
