Not selected
1. Your project in two lines:
A production of Henrik Ibsen’s play *Peer Gynt* with music by Edvard Grieg
2. The objective of your project (explain its purpose and how it will benefit one or more neighborhoods)
The project will enable young amateur musicians, actors, and singers to perform in a production of a major work from the theatrical and musical repertoire and to gain stage experience delivered with enthusiasm and professionalism. It will also give the Lausanne public free access to a staged opera production.
3. Your Project in Detail
The Symphonique en Vogue, a Lausanne-based symphony orchestra composed of young musicians aged 14 to 25, is staging *Peer Gynt* by Henrik Ibsen and Edvard Grieg. This work, a blend of theater, instrumental pieces, and songs, is a major work in the repertoire and allows a wide audience to be swept away by the magic of Norse mythology. Approximately 60 musicians, along with about 20 singers and a dozen actors, will have the opportunity to experience a staged opera production. As with all its projects, the OSV will offer this performance to the public free of charge, allowing a new audience to discover opera.
4. The amount requested to carry out the project (max. CHF 20,000—to be itemized below):
10,000
