The game consists of a series of challenges and mysteries for residents to solve. The goal of this project is to help people get to know the city of Lausanne and its neighborhoods even better by encouraging participants to explore the city while having fun and learning. The puzzle game will be fun for all ages throughout Lausanne and can be played year-round.
2. The objective of your project (explain its purpose and how it will benefit one or more neighborhoods)
- To promote awareness of the city’s mysteries, unsolved puzzles, and urban legends: The game will allow players to discover and explore Lausanne’s various neighborhoods, monuments, green spaces, and infrastructure. In this way, they will gain a better understanding of their urban environment and develop a sense of belonging to these neighborhoods. - Raise awareness of urban issues: Through puzzles and investigations integrated into the game, players will be confronted with urban issues such as mobility, the environment, urban planning, quality of life, etc. The game will provide information and contextual data to raise players’ awareness of the challenges and opportunities for their city’s development. - Promote interactive learning: The game will offer an interactive learning experience by providing contextual information, quizzes, and rewards to encourage players to acquire knowledge about Lausanne’s history, culture, architecture, and specific characteristics. This will allow players to develop a greater appreciation for their city and its heritage.

The “Jeu d’Enquêtes Lausannoises” project aims to create an interactive and educational game that will allow Lausanne residents to explore their city, solve puzzles, and participate in virtual investigations to better understand the various aspects of their urban environment. This game will offer an immersive, fun, and educational experience, while encouraging players to actively engage in thinking about how to improve their city.
