3. Your project in detail
Our “Terminus Itinérant” project for 2024 is an exciting initiative that aims to provide a unique and entertaining experience for the residents of Lausanne. In August and September, we plan to hold our event in the city’s various main squares. The goal of this proposal is to collaborate with the city to ensure the project’s long-term viability and to develop an attractive program for the second half of the summer. The Traveling Terminus will be a dynamic and festive event, designed to bring the community together around a temporary village square. Lausanne’s main squares will be transformed into true playgrounds, offering residents and visitors a multitude of cultural, artistic, and recreational experiences. The festivities will include outdoor shows featuring local artists, music concerts, performances, recreational activities, as well as food and beverage stands offering delicious and varied cuisine. We aim to incorporate the community’s needs and preferences into the event’s planning. We want to involve the residents of Lausanne in the design and programming of the Traveling Terminus. By making this project a permanent fixture, we aim to create an annual tradition that will be eagerly anticipated by Lausanne residents and visitors alike. We firmly believe that the “Terminus itinérant” will help revitalize the city’s cultural life and strengthen the sense of community. We are confident that this collaboration with the city will enable us to develop an attractive program for the second half of the summer. By creating a major event that showcases Lausanne’s cultural richness, we hope to attract a wide audience and promote local economic development. In summary, our “Terminus Itinérant” project for 2024 is a unique opportunity to celebrate Lausanne’s cultural diversity and create a memorable experience for residents and visitors alike. By working closely with the city, our goal is to make this event a long-term fixture, develop an attractive program for the second half of the summer, and contribute to the city’s cultural reputation.
