Theater (children | teens)

Avatar: Ecole de Musique Lausanne Ecole de Musique Lausanne

Who is it for? Two different classes based on age group: Théâtre Moderato for ages 7 to 12 | Théâtre Allegro for ages 11 to 14

Description: A year to discover three facets of theater!

  • Clowning
Workshop The red nose is a mask that reveals the true self of the wearer! Clowns are virtuosos who transform the present moment into something unique. Clowning allows you to open up and deepen your presence, all while having fun with yourself.
In this workshop, you’ll discover or deepen your understanding of the basics of clowning: physical engagement, emotional expression, rapport with the audience, imagination, and playfulness. These classes are playful and joyful, creating as much space as possible for free expression. The various games and improvisations offered are tailored to the participants’ ages.

  • Shadow Puppet Theater Workshop “Let yourself be swept away into the world of shadow puppets and tell their stories… ”
Come create a life-size shadow puppet and discover its projected image… learn how to manipulate light to transform your musical instrument into a character or a setting from another world—one where anything is possible.

  • Workshop: “My Body, My Voice: The Theater of My Emotions”
Our sensitivity makes each of us unique, but we all share a rich range of emotions that connect us to one another. Through structured improvisations and the performance of short memorized texts, come strengthen your personality and self-confidence by exploring—like a painter—the palette of emotional colors!
Texts, improvisations, and entertaining physical and vocal exercises, tailored to the participants’ ages, in a warm and supportive atmosphere.
