How can you participate?

1. Discover the project’s target species in the dedicated guide.

2. Submit your observations online via the “Nos Voisins Sauvages” platform. Adding a photo ensures your data is validated and can be verified by specialists.

You can also participate in the events and guided walks offered by local communities on the “Nos Voisins Sauvages” calendar.

What happens to the information I provide?

The data is verified at the end of each year and transmitted to Infospecies, which consolidates the national databases for flora and fauna. It is thus made available to scientists and local authorities, enabling them to better take biodiversity into account in regional development projects.

Municipalities use these observations to inform their strategies and measures for promoting biodiversity. This may involve: modifying site maintenance practices to make them more conducive to biodiversity; creating new habitats for specific species (rocky nooks, ponds, meadows, copses, etc.); or making barriers safer for amphibians (removing curbs on sidewalks, installing ladders in clear-water inlets, etc.).
