1. The Project in a Nutshell

This is an artistic experimentation workshop being held successively in three neighborhoods of Lausanne.

2. The Project’s Objective

To provide a free, non-judgmental space that invites residents of the Lausanne metropolitan area to try their hand at creativity, express themselves, find inspiration, and socialize.

3. The Project in Detail

We are a group of young people aiming to improve the quality of life for residents of the Lausanne region through creation, expression, exchange, and sharing. Our approach is not focused on achieving specific results, but rather on encouraging people to dare to create in a free space, free from judgment. The pop-up workshop will take place in three neighborhoods throughout the year, lasting one month at each location, thus offering everyone the opportunity to try out artistic techniques (for example: cyanotype, linocut, sewing, theater, etc.). This creative space, led by volunteer specialists, will provide residents of all ages with a variety of tools and materials.

4. The amount requested to carry out the project

• Posters and door-to-door flyers: 4,300 CHF

• Rental fee, purchase of equipment, purchase of furniture: 8,000 CHF

• Meals: 500 CHF
