3. The Project in Detail

• Raising public awareness of the needs of bees

• Establishment of an apiary with different types of hives for natural beekeeping

• Training on honeybees and wild bees focused on the bees’ needs, as well as training on nectar-producing plants

• Creating a biodiversity learning space in the garden to support bees

• Offer hands-on activities for people participating in social integration programs

• Encouraging the creation of new biodiversity spaces in the city.

4. The amount requested to carry out the project

8,000 CHF

• Website, printed materials, photo and video media: 1,100 CHF

• Renewal of bee colonies, various beekeeping equipment, plant seeds: 500 CHF

• Project managers: 4,500 CHF

• Postal account, office supplies: 300 CHF

• Training (beekeeping and permaculture): 1,660 CHF
