Quantitative Results from the Two Workshops

Analysis of the votes revealed several major trends. The priorities that emerged are:

• Integrating Adaptation Measures into Urban Planning and Building Regulations

• Stormwater management

• Protecting people and infrastructure from climate-related hazards

• Development of awareness-raising and training initiatives

The results of the workshops (prioritization, comments, and ideas) will be incorporated into the climate change adaptation action plan. The action plan will be submitted to the City and the City Council for political approval before the measures are implemented by the Lausanne administration.
