En savoir plus sur le projet
Find the locations identified as part of a study conducted by young people living with mental health challenges directly on the map!
The “facilitons la vi(ll)e” network is partly the result of participatory action research conducted by the CHUV General Psychiatry Department (PGE) and the Institute of Geography at the University of Neuchâtel.
This research aims to support recovery in urban settings for young people living with a diagnosis of psychosis and, more broadly, to promote an urban environment that is more conducive to the mental health of everyone.
By sharing your location, you’re not only helping other young people—you’re actively helping to build a more inclusive city that supports mental health in the future.
Next steps for the project:
A selection of locations will be displayed in public spaces: a plaque featuring a QR code so that everyone can discover their secrets.
Each anonymized contribution helps Lausanne shape its land-use planning strategies and guide public health initiatives.
In a second phase, and specifically for restaurants, a “welcoming hospitality charter” will be proposed. By signing it, establishments will officially commit to creating an inclusive and safe environment, thereby enhancing the comfort and peace of mind of all patrons.
This project is developed by the Association Villes et Santé mentale and the City of Lausanne. It received support from Unisanté through its 2025 call for projects for Vaud municipalities. We thank them for their trust and their commitment to working alongside the municipalities.
